Get centered and discover the art of wheel throwing in this six-week throwing workshop.
You'll learn the foundational techniques of working on the pottery wheel—from wedging clay and centering to shaping basic forms like bowls and cylinders. With step-by-step guidance and plenty of practice time, you'll gain confidence and create your own functional ceramic pieces.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or have had a go and want to give it another try, this workshop will allow the space for you to learn with an experience teacher, Annie Gastin.
On completion of this class, you will have some beautiful glazed pieces to take home as well as fun memories and more than likely, the desire to throw again.
