Tactile Arts organises a year-round schedule of events providing a platform for Top End artists and creatives to showcase their diverse work. This includes exhibitions in the Tactile Arts Gallery, three major craft fairs per year, as well as a regular schedule of workshops, and the running of the Tactile Arts retail shop to showcase our members work. Tactile Arts offers two different kinds of membership, read on for more information.

PLEASE NOTE: All Tactile Arts membership options are offered via 12-monthly, auto-renewing subscriptions.

New membership subscriptions must be accompanied by a completed membership form, please click the button below. Tactile Arts reserves the right to reject applications for membership at its discretion, with rejected applications refunded within 5-10 business days.

CRAFT LOVERS MEMBERSHIP

Tactile Arts has just introduced a new Craft Lovers membership option, which is suitable for those who wish to support the organisation, but don't require all the benefits of a full membership.

Craft Lover Membership benefits include:

  • Exclusive invites to exhibition openings and member’s only events;

  • Early notification of new workshops and events;

  • Free entry to the Tactile Arts, Christmas Craft Fair; and

  • A hug from us! Your membership payment helps this amazing, not-for-profit organisation to keep its doors open, supporting artists and craftspeople in the Top End.
  • This membership does not cover discount into The Northern Territory Craft Award entry fee.

Please note that full membership is required to participate in Craft Fairs as a stallholder or to hire equipment or space in the Tactile Arts studios.

FULL MEMBERSHIP

This option is suitable for working artists and crafts people seeking access to the full suite of Tactile Arts membership benefits which include:

  • Member discounts on Tactile Arts Workshops;
  • Options to hire Tactile Arts equipment and space in Tactile Arts studios;
  • Opportunity to apply to have a stall at Tactile Arts Craft Fairs;
