Tactile Arts is a member based, not-for-profit community arts organisation that actively supports and promotes artists and craftspeople from Darwin and the top end of the Northern Territory.
Operating since 1975, Tactile Arts is one of Darwin’s longest established arts organisations, providing on-going support for emerging and established artists and craftspeople.
Our annual schedule of events includes a monthly exhibition program, member exhibitions, vibrant workshop program, Tactile Arts retail shop at Parliament House and three annual craft fair events at prime Darwin locations.
Tactile Arts is located in the grounds of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, five minutes from the centre of Darwin.
We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands and waters of Darwin, the Larrakia people, and pay our respects to elders both past and present.
