with Lillian Smith

In this workshop with textile artist Lillian Smith, students will learn to dye and print their own unique textile or item of clothing. You will dye items of clothing and fabric using Procion Dyes and then learn to develop and print your own stencil design.

Bring used, well washed t-shirts or blouses made from cotton, linen or rayon in white or light colours. Smaller garments are suitable, rather than big bulky ones - not a maxi skirt for example. Cotton tights should be OK, not synthetic.

Suitable for beginner/intermediate.
