We invite artists to submit work for Reflection, an upcoming exhibition exploring the many layers of what it means to reflect.

This exhibition asks: What do we see when we look inward? What have we learned from the year behind us? How do we witness the state of the world — and how do we respond? Whether through introspection, observation, or aspiration, Reflection is a space to consider where we've been, where we are, and where we're going.

We welcome works that explore personal insight, social commentary, visual or literal reflections, and the visions we hope to bring into focus. Artists across all mediums are encouraged to apply.

Let this be a mirror — to ourselves, our time, and our collective imagination.

Terms and Conditions of Entry:

All participants must be current Tactile Arts Members.

Artists may submit up to three artworks. However, depending on size of works and number of submissions we will fit as many as we can, but may not be able to include all works. At least one work will be included from all artists.

Application fee is $35. Only one application fee required per artist regardless of number of artworks submitted.

Tactile Arts will not take commission on sold works.

 

Artworks must be display ready (e.g. frames must have hanging hooks and/or hanging wires, paper artworks must be framed or mat-boarded with appropriate hanging elements). You will be asked to take artworks that are not display ready home with you to prepare and return or these works will not be included in the exhibition.

 

Artists will be notified on Monday 4th November of the number of works to be delivered.  

 

Participating artists are asked to bring a plate of food to share at the opening night.

 

Artwork Delivery Date: Tuesday 11 to Saturday 15 November between office hours: Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 2pm.  
Exhibition Dates: Friday 21 November to Saturday 6 December 2025.
Artwork Collection Dates: Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 December 2025 (the office will be closed after this date until the new year).

 

Opening Friday 31st October from 5:30pm

Bar open from 5:30pm and light refreshments provided.
