Tactile Arts has been lucky enough to secure a fundraising spot in this year's Deckchair Cinema ballot! As a not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting makers of contemporary art and craft in the top end for 50 years, events like this are essential to ensuring that we can continue to do what we do best!
We'll be holding our fundraising evening at the Deckchair Cinema on Sunday, 23 April, with the screening of the much loved film, Dirty Dancing, 35 years after it took the world by storm with its now iconic dance scenes and toe-tapping soundtrack. We'll have a cake stall to feed the sugar cravings that inevitably accompany a trip to the movies, and pop-up shop full of beautifully hand-crafted goodies, so please come down, support us and help us to continue to support our local creative community.
