Kaye's love of the arts began over 30 years ago in Darwin where she completed an Associate Diploma in Ceramics. For many years, Kaye sold her work in various artist co-operatives and exhibited display pieces in local galleries. She and her husband moved to Maleny in 2012, where she began exploring the sculptural elements of clay, drawing on intricate structures from nature. Kaye has recently returned to Darwin and established a new studio in Stuart Park.

Kaye has
travelled extensively through Asia and Europe, and has attended clay workshops in Italy, Greece and Indonesia. These tours inspired and guided her to experiment with new techniques. Kaye's work now includes a range of pieces from individual flowers to Wall Art and table top vessels. Some are instinctive while others are painstakingly sculpted where each piece is made by hand so that none are identical.
