Learn to silver solder in this popular workshop, making a sterling silver set gemstone ring.
Suitable for both beginners and those who have previously attended jewellery classes.
Select a gemstone from a variety of stones; such as malachite, turquoise, agate, labradorite and many more.
Create a unique design for your ring to solder, file, sand and polish to completion. Choose from a fine selection of bezels and ring bands.
This activity uses butane gas powered, hand held torches which are simple and easy to use on small jewellery pieces.
Participants will be given a demonstration by the tutor the beginning of the class and participants will receive an email with instructions on simple silver soldering and safety in the studio.
Safety glasses are supplied or if you wear glasses make sure you bring them with you.
Wear covered shoes and bring a water bottle. Morning tea is available.

Minimum class size 5, maximum 7.
Class subject to cancellation due to insufficient bookings. If a class is cancelled for this reason, a full refund will be issued.
Cancellations with full refund can be made up until 2 weeks prior to workshop commencement, however individual classes will not be refunded due to nonattendance.
