2018 Dragonfly Craft Fair
TACTILE ARTS ANNOUNCES 2018 DRAGONFLY CRAFTS FAIR
DARWIN NT – Tactile Arts is celebrating the Dry season with its annual Dragonfly Crafts Fair, which will be held on Sunday, 5 August from 9am to 3pm on the Museum grounds at 19 Conacher Street in Fannie Bay.
The craft fair is a great opportunity to purchase unique, locally-made handcrafted goods, soak up the beautiful surroundings of the Museum grounds, have a bite to eat and enjoy a fun and relaxing day out, courtesy of Tactile Arts. This annual fair showcases and celebrates local craft, with a great number of crafted items, homewares, and gifts to take advantage of. Those seeking a lovely day out with a wide choice of stalls that the whole family will enjoy won’t want to miss the Dragonfly Crafts Fair.
Tactile Arts Acting General Manager Melanie Favola explains that many of the stallholders also teach their craft to both beginners and experienced practitioners. “The craft fair provides an opportunity to meet local craftspeople and try out something through one of the many workshops offered at the Tactile Arts studios,” she said.
Parking is free and accessible in the MAGNT car park, and overflow parking is available at the Darwin Ski Club.
