The Silver bangle workshop will guide beginners through creating their own custom bangles using basic silversmithing techniques like annealing, soldering, filing, sanding and polishing. Participants work with sterling silver half round silver wire to hammer and shape 2 silver bangles, using a mandrel and mallet.
Personalise the designs using texturing hammers and stamps. Form into a circle, flux and solder the ends of the wire together to create a seamless join.
Add a design or initials to a 10 mm silver disc charm or bring one of you own.
Finally file, sand and polish the bangles to achieve a professional finish. The result is a unique bangles to treasure.
