Join us on Sunday, 4 May from 9am to 3pm, for the first Tactile Arts Makers Market of 2025. Experience a diverse selection of beautifully handcrafted work, produced in the Top End by some of our finest artists, crafters, designers and makers. Remember Mothers Day is just one week after the market, so it's the perfect opportunity to find a beautiful and unique gift for a mum in your life.
 
Enjoy live music from Lilla Wellington, fun workshops and FREE kids activities.
 
Stallholder applications are now closed - stallholders will be notified by 28 March.

WORKSHOPS AT THE MARKET!

Come on down for this 1-hour art workshop on the lawns at the Darwin Waterfront this May Day weekend.  

Join renowned local artist Aly de Groot and learn how to start weaving a basket or earrings. Aly will give you a weaving taster, sharing her sustainable art practice using unsuspecting waste materials such as bailing twine, ghost net (recycled fishing nets and ropes), and refashioned old clothing like denim jeans.

 

Workshops will run from 10-11am and 2-3pm, places are limited so get in quickly. $30pp
