Join locally renowned artist, Lillian Smith, well known for her unique, tropical, and colourful hand printed fabrics and learn the art of textile printing.
In this two-day workshop over two weekends, you will take plain fabrics and transform them into something truly unique. Using accessible tools and materials, you will learn to create designs and print them onto fabrics while experimenting with patterns, textures and layering techniques.
Whether you’re completely new to textile design or looking to try a fresh approach, this workshop offers the perfect chance to grow your skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
You will not only take home beautiful handprinted fabrics, but also the skills to be able to create in your own home.

All participants must wear enclosed shoes.

Participants must bring a metre of natural fibre fabric such as cotton or linen. This recommended to be white or light in colour to get the best printing results.

Minimum class size 5, maximum 8.
Class subject to cancellation due to insufficient bookings. If a class is cancelled for this reason, a full refund will be issued.
Cancellations with full refund can be made up until 2 weeks prior to workshop commencement, however individual classes will not be refunded due to nonattendance.
