Tania recalls some of her earliest memories are of collecting landscape images as travel postcards while on family camping trips around Western Australia and receiving her first SLR camera at age seven. From that moment photography and art have been a part of her life journey and story, drawing inspiration from the Australian outback colours and remoteness as well as the Australian Impressionist art movement. Tania describes an aerial image as an illustration of the landscape in a completely different way where both photographer and viewer are taken on a journey that moves between reality and the surreal.

Tania has won many awards in Australia and overseas including AIPP NT Landscape photographer of the Year in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. She is highly regarded for her aerial images and her work has been shown around the world including London, Paris, New York and Shanghai. Her work is included in the China Art Museum Shanghai private collection.

In her exhibition at Tactile Arts, Tania investigates the dynamics of landscape and fine art photography through the concept of Life. Through her magnificent aerial photography, Tania’s work takes the audience on a visual arts journey from above, exploring the relationships between the elements of nature and the life it creates, nurtures and ends.

Prints are available as a Limited edition release.
