Join us for an exciting two-day workshop designed for young creatives aged 13 to 25. Dive into the world of mixed media and discover the magic of layering different materials to create unique drawings and paintings. This workshop is all about the process, learning new techniques, and having fun with creative experimentation.
What to Expect:
-
Hands-On Learning: Experiment with various media applications, learn tricks of the trade, and then break some rules along the way!
-
Diverse Techniques: Combine drawing, painting, and printmaking, switching between small-scale and larger works.
-
Materials: Work with inks, graphite, coloured and conte pencils, chalk, charcoal, paint, and collage.
-
Collaborative and Individual Projects: Create both collaborative pieces and individual works.
-
Take Home: Leave with a mini sketchbook of mixed media tests and experiments, and at least one larger experimental piece.
Why Join? This fun and engaging workshop aims to foster a love for creative experimentation where discoveries are more important than the final pieces (although there’s bound to be some masterpieces created along the way!).
