Learn to silver solder in this popular workshop, making a sterling silver gemstone ring. Choose a gemstone from a variety of semi precious stones, such as turquoise, malachite, amethyst, agate, rose quartz and many more stones.
Participants will be able to follow step by step laminated diagrams for making the ring and they will be given a demonstration by the tutor before starting their jewellery piece.
Choose a decorative or plain bezel and ring band, you may add embellishments of silver balls or decorative twist for an added level of skill, then solder, file and polish your ring to completion.
This activity uses butane gas powered, hand held torches which are simple and easy to use on small jewellery pieces.
Wear covered shoes and bring a water bottle. Safety glasses and aprons are provided.

Minimum class size 5, maximum 8. Class subject to cancellation due to insufficient bookings in which case fees paid will be refunded. Full student refunds can be issued up to 2 weeks prior to commencement, however individual classes will not be refunded due to nonattendance.
