Be introduced to the fascinating art of kiln formed glass in this 4-hour class with experienced Darwin artist, Melanie Tribe.
This workshop is an introduction to working with kiln formed glass where you will learn how to:
· select, safely cut and shape glass;
· use a range of glass tools including a glass cutter;
· select and prep a glass mould; and
· be given a brief introduction to the magic of a glass kiln.
Putting everything you learn into practice, by the end of the workshop all participants will have produced their own unique glass artwork in the form of a bowl, platter or set of coasters.
Your artwork will be loaded into the kiln and will be ready for collection on the following Wednesday.
This workshop opens up attendance at the monthly Tactile Arts Fused Glass Group.

Class subject to cancellation due to insufficient bookings. If a class is cancelled for this reason, a full refund will be issued.
Cancellations with full refund can be made up until 2 weeks prior to workshop commencement, however individual classes will not be refunded due to nonattendance.
