Vikings used a crystal to navigate their ships on cloudy days. Using Solarsteinn (sunstone) with its light polarising properties they could tell the direction of the sun. This workshop is a new technique of wire wrapping, weaving a basket around the stone. Students can practice other designs from wire wrapping classes using amethyst crystals and other stones, following step by step diagrams. Leather straps will be used to hang their finished viking basket wrapped Solarsteinn.

All materials are provided, please wear closed in footwear and sensible clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
Minimum class size 5, maximum 15. Class subject to cancellation due to insufficient bookings in which case fees paid will be refunded. Full student refunds can be issued up to 7 working days prior to commencement, however individual classes will not be refunded due to nonattendance.
