Lino cutting and printing T- shirts for teens. Using wood carving tools with easy carve rubber lino circles and squares, students can create permanent prints on their shirts. With a variety of Permaset fabric ink colours to choose from, they will use foam rollers and trays to roll out the colour on the lino tile. Learning to overlay prints, repeat pattern printing and coloured fabric pens to add small details or words, will make a dynamic personalised design.
Students should bring a t-shirt or two to print on. Additionally, they can use their lino tile design to make paper card prints in this workshop.
Instructions for care of their printed shirts once completed class: to make the colours set more permanently, iron well before washing.
