with Frances Ricketts
In this workshop with Frances Ricketts, kids will create a sculpture inspired by the work of sculptor Anthony Calder.
Tactile Arts Kids Arts and Crafts classes engage children and their families with the organisation's current exhibitions and artist residencies, teaching a variety of new skills and offering creative experiences for young minds that explore the personally and socially transformative power of visual arts and culture. Students will learn practical skills and techniques as a foundation for understanding, expression and creative growth.
Classes will cover a wide variety of arts and crafts including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, ceramics, jewellery and printmaking. Workshops will be facilitated by Frances Ricketts, Betty Franklin, Hilary Jones, Janie Andrews and Tactile Arts Programs Coordinator, Ned Roberts.
