Long time Darwin resident and self-taught artist, Danella Lee is of Larrakia, Wardaman and Karajarri descent. Her work has featured in galleries all over Australia and Europe, and she was the first female indigenous artist to enter and sell their artwork at the prestigious Milano Art Festival, Italy.
Danella creates homewares using her preferred medium of natural materials such as wood, feathers, bamboo and clay and hand paints her unique "dilly bag" designs on hand made cards.
