Join our 2020 artist in residence, Lapidarist and art educator Frances Ricketts for fun activities over the Easter holiday to keep young minds active, entertained and creative. Activities will focus on the use of gemstones and crystals to create a range of different art projects to take home.
Session 2 - Turquoise mosaic treasure box
Additional activities include making gem bottle top fridge magnets, gem encrusted pen, gemstone decorated fan, gemstone pendant and a pot of gemstones to take home.
Saturday 18 April
1pm to 3:30pm
Students need to wear closed toe shoes and bring an apron or smock.
Suitable for primary age kids only. Children under 8 need to be accompanied by an adult. All parents welcome. Kids who become Tactile Arts concession members will be able to participate at discounted prices in future kid's workshops and members exhibitions.
Minimum class size 5, maximum 15. Class subject to cancellation due to insufficient bookings in which case fees paid will be refunded. Full student refunds can be issued up to 7 working days prior to commencement, however individual classes will not be refunded due to nonattendance.
