1. Preparing a glass kiln for operation;
2. Principles of loading a glass kiln;
3 How to write a glass kiln program;
3. Requirements for monitoring during kiln operation;
4. How to rectify routine problems; and
5. Control of hazards
Note - This course plus 5 supervised firings are a prerequisite to independent hiring and firing of the Tactile Arts glass kiln.
