Let the fundraising begin!
Why we're fundraising...
Tactile Arts was originally created to bring people together and this is what we still strive for today.
The studios, tools and equipment at Tactile Arts are in desperate need of some TLC. Our studios are used by many as a place to get creative, wind down, (or up) and learn or develop skills. We're hoping to raise enough funds to purchase a brand new ceramics kiln, glass grinder, projector, chairs and tables (the list goes on..)
Tactile Arts has been approved for the Plus 1 Fundraiser Grant through Creative Partnerships Australia. What does this mean? For every dollar we raise, Creative Partnerships Australia will match it! Our fundraising target is $20,000 and we will use the much needed funds to upgrade the studios, tools and equipment here at Tactile Arts.

The first fundraising event...
Swan around, catch up with friends and listen to Toby Robinson's fabulous guitar and vocals!
Join us @ Curve Cafe & Bar, Darwin Waterfront, 6pm Wednesday 15 November for an entertaining evening, featuring a raffle, silent auction and much more...
One ticket is a donation of $35, this will help us cover the cost of the drink on arrival, the food platter and the extraordinary musician Toby Robinson.
The donation/ticket will be matched by Creative Partnerships Australia's Plus 1 Program, which means that for every $35 donation/ticket, we will receive an additional $35! Every dollar counts!
So show your support tomorrow night, sip on your complimentary wine, beer, sparkling or soft drink on arrival, nibble on some food, meet some of the Tactile Arts Staff, members and artists, as well as get to know some of the talented artists who participated in the the Tropical Takeover. Show your support by spreading the word about the event, the silent auction and raffle to your family and friends!
Okay, let's just take a second to appreciate the beauty shown above... This stunning piece has kindly been donated by Paspaley.

We are so excited and gracious for Paspaley's contribution to our fundraiser and we would also like to thank Virginia for helping us with this donation.
