with Sophia Golavanevskaya

Sophia works primarily in small batch ceramics and strongly believes in the healing powers of clay, maintaining that artists can project a degree of consciousness into their works, and thus produce pieces which can hold great healing qualities for their immediate environment/owner.

Beginners will learn the basics of wheel throwing, trimming, design and glaze decoration. For intermediate or returning students, we will challenge you with new ideas and forms and will work with you to refine your work. We welcome functional and sculptural designs - bring your ideas and we will help you realise them!

You will become hooked on the endless creative possibilities of ceramic design.
