Students will learn hand-building techniques, which include using clay slabs, coils & plaster moulds. Decorating your clay creation using impressions from natural and other found objects. As well as using coloured slips, stains and under-glazes will be shown. Students are encouraged to bring along any objects that could be used to press into clay. Sculptures, birdbaths, birdhouses, masks and/or tiles for your future mosaic wall piece are all achievable in this workshop.
Your pieces will be fired and ready for collection from the studio a few weeks after the class.

Minimum class size 5, maximum 7. Class subject to cancellation due to insufficient bookings in which case fees paid will be refunded. Full student refunds can be issued up to 7 working days prior to commencement, however individual classes will not be refunded due to nonattendance.
